It is simply impossible for me to choose a favorite item from Pearles Painting shop. I don't even try anymore. Her work is simply exquisite. I love her meticulous attention to detail, her color composition and how her choice of designs so wonderfully fit her chosen object. She has expanded her art objects to include many more items, such as plates, salt and pepper shakers and tiny boxes. She writes an informative About page that is definitely worth reading.
I love abstract art and so I chose this one:
A collection of art prints from Art of Princess M shop is a must. Each piece commands close attention. I find them engrossing and exciting as I differentiate and dissect each motif in the print and then sit back and enjoy the composition as a whole. Overlapping colors range from bold black to pastels. Most prints are portraits but the artist also does pieces in pure abstract, in adventure I always enjoy. I don't try to understand abstract art, I simply enjoy it.
You may wonder about my next selection: a corset. Look and read on:
I confess when I first saw a boned corset from Battie Clothing, I immediately thought "oh, how risque!" But my second thought was "Oh, how I wish I could pull off wearing one!" And so, I simply admire her work from across the ocean. Battie Clothing is located in England, I'm in stuffy USA. Laughs aside, her work is fabulous and it is clear that she uses quality materials, that the construction is professionally sewn, and that she has a critically artistic eye in the designs of her under garments. Of course, these pieces are simply too beautiful to be covered up. My most favorite piece has been sold but she does have new ones for me to continue to daydream over.
And last, but certainly not least, I enjoy the minimalist jewelry of Petite Co. The pieces are lovely and delicate. The beads are very simple, yet rich in colors. A group of bracelets would be fun to have and to wear. Other pieces, such as the necklaces are equally delicate and sport fun themes. See two of my favorites below:
Finally, don't just take my word. Trekk on over to Etsy and take a look at these fabulous shops for yourself!
